Since silk is a very delicate fabric, please note a few points of what to expect from this beautiful cloth. 100% handloom silk produces a beautiful and luxurious effect that cannot be achieved by machine woven fabrics. Special handspun silk yarns are used to create unevenness, slubs and shading variations, which gives this fabric its beauty, and are not considered to be faults.

Since our silk yarns are 100% natural, it is the natural character of the fabric that colour and texture variations can occur between two rolls of the same colour and in fact within one single roll.

It is internationally accepted that due to the nature of the cloth, 100% silk cannot be guaranteed against fading from sunlight and is therefore highly recommended that lining be used.
